Introduction I'm nobody but

I want to give a shoutout to iosgods, its founder (hey Rook! :P), modders who are the lifeblood of this community, and even the hackers who enjoy their works. I started cheating in the 90s when game genie released, but didn't really get hooked until game shark followed. The idea of manipulating a number into a bigger one and seeing it play out in a game was very captivating to me as a child and even now as an adult. My hat's off to all the talented folks here that have taken data manipulation and turned it into a thing we all can enjoy.

I returned to the States from Thailand a couple years ago and started jailbreaking again. Covid began ramping up ever since and It's been difficult finding work. I have a degree in criminal justice (the irony, considering our hobby here eh? :P), have applied for (and been denied by) too many jobs/careers related to it. Most of my resume consists of customer service, front desk stuff. I love helping people and it never gets old. But man, I think my degree and history of moving around has really hurt me cuz nobody seems to want me...hotels, hospitals, restaurants, homeless shelters, etc. I'm either underqualifed or overqualified.

So you ask, what does that have to do with iosgods? Well, the lack of work in combination with losing some friends and family to cancer and covid these last two years, has me quite down every day. I hate the weekends now. I feel like it's just two days where all my job applications are placed on hold. So, during limbo, I sleep a lot to speed up time and hack a lot to disconnect my mind. If not for these things, I think I'd have gone insane by now. If you're like me and just living day to day, hoping for the nightmare to end, just know you are not alone. Thanks again to Rook for providing this platform, the amazing modders who slave away for our enjoyment, and everyone who can afford to support this wonderful hobby/art. 😄💞📱 ....alrighty, back to sleep..lol. 🤤

Thank youu. Knock on wood eh...  that’d be the day, ugh. I hope this gray area STAYS gray. Love it too much. And I WAS passionate about criminal justice, until all the rejections lol. According to my bg investigator for the last one, my old police academy put on record that I have a problem with aggression. You’d think, in a day and age where police are under the ‘scope for being TOO aggressive that I’d be a breath of fresh air. Nah, they don’t care for change or improvements, instead, they just want another body with a badge and an intimidating mug. So screw em. Not gonna waste my time on that field anymore. But at the rate of things, i dunno what field WILL take me. Can’t even get a job at subway ffs 😩
