Help/Support How do I set a background color for UIView

[niro 1.2k 9 9.1.0]

So I'm trying to set the background color of a subclass (I think it's called) and it won't work

I have tried @interface BLAH BLAG BLAG : UIView

But that won't work

I'm not trying to change the WHOLE UIView class just the one in the photo

 

Can someone please explain this?

Edit the parameters to your liking

[I][self setBackgroundColor:[[/I][I]UIColor colorWithRed[/I]:1.0 green:1.0 blue:1.0 alpha:1.0]];

Would I still do @@Interface?

As well as

{

- (void)setBackgroundColor:(UIColor *)color

color = kDarkColor;

return %orig;

}

do you mind writing up an example? Im not sure where I would place [self setBackgroundColor:[UIColor colorWithRed:0.157 green:0.157 blue:0.157 alpha:1]]; sorry for so many questions
