General Laptop screen goes black

Hi guys, so i have laptop old of mine that didn’t use probably a year. But i have a little problem with it. When i turn it on it goes black screen but the backlight is on & the fan is running. I tried changing the ram & ssd and nothing work.

Do u guys have any ideas? 

My laptop is Hp 8570p

This sounds like either a GPU issue or a monitor issue. Or perhaps a software issue?

You can try connecting to an external monitor to see if the GPU is working when your monitor is off.
