Solution to VERY slow App Store downloads.

    So every now and then after you download a new Cydia tweak or new app(won't state from where) you find the App Store downloading takes FOREVER!(even though your connection is phenomenal. You wifi speed is PERFECT. You have the only device demanding download in the house. And your right next to the router with 3 bars.) I seem to accidentally found a solution. I don't know if it's related but after enabling the tweak(it's even disabled now and it still works. While on my iPad witu same network(expect it's 5ghz which should be faster then 2.4) where I have not downloaded the tweak it still takes FOREVER!

     

    Never posted a how to tutorial before so for all that "like to find out(which I don't care either way. But it could be a forum requirement so I'm just stating now)" but here's how

     

    1. Download flex 2.

    2. Go to the second panel on the bottom(the cloud) and find the App Store.

    3. Download App store NoDowloadLimit patch(supposed to be for multiple downloads only[not for slow app downloads] but it seems to have fixed the speed in every way)

    3 go to first tab and press the checkbox for the patch so it's highlighted. It may prompt you to restart springboard.

    4. VOILA! You should not have problems download from the App Store anymore. In fact my apps seem to skip while downloading(the progress bar jumps from 1/16 to 4/16 or something like that) so perhaps it's even after download then without.

     

    I take no credit for this patch as I am not its creator. However I know other have had this problem(I always have it on all my devices). And decided to post my accidental findings

     

    Tested on iOS 8.4 iPhone 4s

    Edit: after disabling flex 2 with icleaner pro and a reboot it does not work anymore... So piece of advice to the people like me trying to save ram. Don't disable flex 2 with icleaner pro or it will stop working xD.

    I had forgotten what it was called... I looked it up and it's App Store NoDowloadLimit. Edited.(I had called it unlimited because that's the first thing that came to mind and I didn't want to lose my post by switching apps and having to rewrite it... Easier to just fix it after)

    Haha no problem. I was looking up how to disable notifications center on iOS 8 and found the only way was a flex 2 patch. And then I came across this patch

     

    and remembered how annoying waiting for multiple apps to download was. And then it worked for the speed too 0.0 I can't believe this works myself xD

    I think I noticed these slow speeds also for some reason. O.o

        📖 PC Installation Instructions

        📖 PC Installation Instructions

        STEP 1: Download the pre-hacked .IPA file from the link above to your computer. To download from the iOSGods App, see our iOSGods App IPA Download Tutorial which includes a video example.
        STEP 2: Download Sideloadly and install it on your Windows or Mac.
        STEP 3: Open Sideloadly on your computer, connect your iOS device, and wait until your device name appears in Sideloadly.
        STEP 4: Once your iDevice is recognized, drag the modded .IPA file you downloaded and drop it into the Sideloadly application.
        STEP 5: Enter your Apple Account email, then press “Start.” You’ll then be asked to enter your password. Go ahead and provide the required information.
        STEP 6: Wait for Sideloadly to finish sideloading/installing the hacked IPA. If there are issues during installation, please read the note below.
        STEP 7: Once the installation is complete and you see the app on your Home Screen, you will need to go to Settings -> General -> Profiles / VPN & Device Management. Once there, tap on the email you entered from step 6, and then tap on 'Trust [email protected]'.
        STEP 8: Now go to your Home Screen and open the newly installed app and everything should work fine. You may need to follow further per app instructions inside the hack's popup in-game.

        NOTE: iOS/iPadOS 16 and later, you must enable Developer Mode. For free Apple Developer accounts, you will need to repeat this process every 7 days.
