1- YES

2-Muslims fast to put themselves in the place of the poor and in the place of the prophet, who practiced fasting to meditate.

Ramadan is one of the 5 pillars of Islam and therefore one of the duties of Muslims.

*Fasting would promote the spiritual path and reflection, but would also help to show vigor, control and asceticism, a symbol of belief.

Same thing it is useless to copy my answer and paste...:yr:

1 • Yes

2 • Fasting is pillar of Islam which makes it necessary for Muslims to do. Fasting is also done to help Muslims put into perspective how the poor may feel. However, the poor don’t have food to look forward to at Maghrib so another reason for fasting is to show that we can give up sustenance and make sacrifice for Allah.

Ramadan Kareem / Hello from TURKEY :hi:

1-YES

2-We, Muslims, fast for the month of Ramadan because Allah has ordered us.

Fasting solves the problem of consumption, which will help the poor understand their situation better and solve their problems.

- First of all we do fest because it’s an order from Allah (for those who can). That order from Allah have lots of reasons behind it, such as keeps you away from the infractions, in Ramadan muslim people racing to help each other seeking for Thawab (Reward) from Allah. Also it makes our bodies well function.
