Help/Support checkra1n on ios 14.4

[Nuwf 4 iPhone 8 14.4]

Need help, was able to get checkra1n on my iPhone 8 running ios 14.4 but when i get to the point where i install cydia i get this error 

“check_snapshot_error_code: Unable to remount rootfs read-write”

before i used checkra1n i was jailbroken with unc0ver on ios 12.4 updated to 14.4 no problem and was able to install checkra1n but cydia will not install idk if this is a problem caused by switching between jailbreaks or if ios 14.4 is not fully supported any insight will help, Thanks.

Better do fully restore your device with iTunes

would it be the same as a factory reset through settings? or does the itunes restore do something else? asking because i tried a factory reset and the error was still popping up

No it's not, when you do that the corrupted jailbreak files still there. You need to do a fresh restore with iTunes

thank you for this insight, I will let you know if that solves the problem which it probably will.

Can you recommend a tutorial for checkra1n because I am having trouble. Well, first, did you use a Mac or windows? I don’t have a Mac. 
 I used to be jailbroken but apparently I have killed the brain cells that knew how to do that!
