i’m considering swapping all of my iOSGods.com stuff from my iPhone to an iPad. Would it be better to use an iPad seventh generation with the iOS of 13.5.1 or if I got a new iPad would I run into trouble with the iOS version if it was 14x?      Would it be better to use a new iPad or the older one?  Also, how hard would it be to swap everything to the iPad?  I know the new iPad would have more room and I am thinking 🤔 of possibly trying my hand at learning how to hack. Anyone with answers, opinions or suggestions please feel free to respond.

thx 🙏 for your help

p/s I am NJB and have no plans of changing in the foreseeable future

I would suggest first to check whether the iPad you want to get supports any type of jailbreak. Then make the decision whether you would prefer an iPad or iPhone for these kind of stuff. Ultimately, you need a jailbroken device for learning to hack so it's pointless to get one that doesn't support a jailbreak

Would it be better to just use a newer iPad for games because of the graphics quality and then use a laptop for the learning to hack or would that have to be jailbroken as well?  Also would I be able to change the iOS on the new iPad down to where it works with most, if not all, the games?  I’m just not sure the best way to go.  I’ve been out of the computer game too long.

I’ve been hesitant about jail breaking for security reasons but if I get a new iPad and only use it for playing games and hacking I shouldn’t have to worry that much about it. Which iPad would be best and easiest to jb?

If you want to efficiently do hacking, you need a jailbroken device. Otherwise, the essential part of IDA hacking which is to crack an application, that itself you cannot do on your own. So, you have to ask someone to crack the app for you every time you want to hack xD

However, if you don't want to do hacking but play games, you can get a newer one but if you cannot jailbreak, means you can't use Jailbroken mod menu cheats. Leaving only Non jb ones which are limited in number and feature.

It is up to you I guess at the end of the day.

Cost effectively, I suggest iPad Mini 4 xD as I use it myself. Don't consult me on these devices, I don't have the slightest clue which can be jailbroken (Y)

I would never insult you. If you use the iPad Mini 4 I take it that it can be jailbroken. That’s good enough for me. I like a larger screen so I might try to find a 2020 iPad Pro.
