I have been seeing a lot of responses in regards to Jailbreaking iOS 13.6 to 13.7. While there isn't a truly compatible method, you could try using a flashdrive JB method. I've updated the tutorial for it below (10-November-2020).

It is a bit harder to do, and can only be done on A10 devices or newer (iPhone 5 to iPhone X). But this trick can run CheckRa1n on a Windows computer.

This trick is how I jailbroke my iPhone X 13.6.1. It works for those devices up to iOS 14.2.

 

———— Some JB News ————

• Odyssey JB got updated and now supports iOS 13 - 13.7 on “all devices” (according to their website)! Check out their website - Odyssey Jailbreak
  Unc0ver may be getting an update to support versions 11 to 13.7 and all devices up to A13’ (basically not the new A14 devices, this is to be determined)! A private group found a huge vulnerability within 13.6.1 and has agreed to share that with the Unc0ver team to update the jailbreak. Hopefully it happens within the week!
• Over the past week or two, the JB community has bared witness to iOS 14.2 private Jailbreaks. This is good news to know that a vulnerability has been identified and that even Apple’s newest devices are not immune. With that being said, if you haven’t, don’t update!! Just be patient!
• Checkra1n was updated to support iOS 14 and iOS 14.2. Still only works on iPhone 5 to iPhone X (A10 processor devices, A11 have limited support and that is, you have to remove any passcode prior to jailbreak), and is still only available to download on Mac.
• Pangu tweeted regarding iOS 14 JB and supported devices. They are working it!  Pangu’s iOS 14 status tweet.
• Checkra1n was updated to support iOS 13.7.

Some benefits with Jailbreaking and what the goal is

Jailbreaking your iOS device has an incredible amount of benefits. Ranging from;

• Apps that change how your phone performs
• Tweaks to enable the ability to customize every aspect of your device
• Ability to download and install any app (this includes ipa files and modded files) without the fuss of the Apple App Store. And most can be found within Cydia. 
• It is also a very powerful alternative to utilizing the modded applications offered to all of us by our esteemed iOSGods staff, in the face of more frequent certification revokes.

But where do I begin?

The ultimate goal of a good jailbreak is to remove root restrictions placed by Apple and give the user full control over his/her device.

Additionally, a package manager is installed called either Cydia or Sileo. The Package Managers job is to give the user the ability to have an organized visual of all of the different tweaks and mods that are available to you, with currently installed repository (repo) sources.

If you would like access to more, find the respective repo and add it into Cydia or Sileo. Then Cydia or Sileo will update and BOOM! everything offered by that source is now available!

Cydia - Is the Package Manager that became available with the earliest versions of Jailbreaks. Cydia is the most popular package manager and is most commonly used with jailbreaks that are available.

Sileo - This package manager was set up to have a more "user friendly" interface. The look and feel are very similar to the app store.

There are differences, but they both ultimately do the same job.

We want the package manager and the unrestricted root to be able to work in unison to change the inner workings of the device.

 

Before you go further, there are some terms that you should understand.

Definitions for "Tethered, Semi-Tethered, and Untethered"

‘Tethered’ ‘Semi-Tethered’ ‘Untethered’

These terms refer to the ability of the jailbreak to hold its patch on the kernal after a device reboots or loses battery power and dies.

• Tethered - A tethered jailbreak means that if the device is rebooted or the battery dies, it has to be plugged in, via usb, to a PC so the jailbreak software can re-patch the device. This device can not be turned back on without being connected.
• Semi-Tethered - A jailbreak that will patch the phone, but upon reboot or dead battery, will require you to ‘re-jailbreak’, in a sense, the device before you can reactivate all your tweaks and mods. However, your phone will act straight from Apple upon reboot, but it will turn back on. 

NOTE: Do not get this confused with ‘removing the jailbreak’ because all of the info is still present within the device. The jailbreak tool just needs to reinstall the patch! An Apple care rep will definitely be able to tell your device IS still jailbroken.

• Untethered - The godsend of all jailbreaks. This jailbreak patch will hold its own after rebooting, restarting, a dead battery. This jailbreak will only be lost upon a software update or a restore.

‘Can-I-Jailbreak’

This link offers up-to-date information and links regarding different jailbreak software and methods. You simply find your “iOS version” (found in settings, general and about) and then locate the jailbreak that fits you and your device.

Currently, all available jailbreak methods are "Semi-Tethered" Jailbreaks.

The more common JB Methods

• Unc0ver is currently one of the global leaders in the Jailbreak world. This is a tool that can be used to jailbreak ANY iOS device running iOS 11 - 13.5 currently. This tool can be found within iOSGods' App and App+ for an easy install!
• Chimera is another powerful tool that can be used and is also found within iOSGods' App and App+ for download. Chimera will work on iOS 12-12.4 and will work on any iOS Device as well
• Checkra1n supports iPhones 5 to iPhone X and iOS versions from iOS 12.3 to 14.2. But is still unfortunately only available for Mac/Linux. See below for a Windows based work around.
• Odyssey JB currently only supports up to iOS 13.7, Updated as of 20Nov. However, all devices are currently supported. Check out their website - Odyssey Jailbreak

If your iOS version isn’t supported, don't give up all hope yet. With a few extra steps, you may be able to get around this issue.

 

Some Alternative JB Methods

• One alternative method is using Sideloadly to sideload the jailbreak app onto your iOS device. Simple and effective!
• Another could be placing your phone into a recovery mode, and then using CheckRa1n to jailbreak  Currently, Checkra1n is only released for Mac and Linux.  The recovery mode basically tricks the CheckRa1n program into thinking that the device is bricked, this enables the user to run the exploit and jailbreak some unsupported iOS versions. Keep in mind though, this may cause issue with your device as afore mentioned, "unsupported iOS versions".

 

"Ra1nUSB/ModRa1n USB" flashdrive JB method (can be used on a windows based computer to run CheckRa1n)

-- If you're on Windows, you can still use Checkra1n, but you'll need to create a Ra1nUSB/ModRa1n boot device. Here is a walk-through on the process; Ra1nUSB/ModRa1nUSB Tutorial. This is updated as of the new Checkra1n that supports iOS14. Currently Checkra1n is only supported on iPhone X and older generations. If you're on an iPhone XS or newer, you may have to wait until one of the mentioned jailbreak tools is updated. ALSO! This is a Semi-Tethered Jailbreak, so if your phone restarts, you'll have to use the FlashDrive JB method in order to restore your jailbreak again.

Whichever method used, now that you have your phone jailbroken; if it isn't already there, install ‘Cydia’ using the jailbreak application that was installed onto your iOS device home screen!

 

 And that's it! You’re done! Congrats! Now you can start tweaking!! 

 

Some Jailbreak limitations and things to consider

Unfortunately, Apple doesn't approve of jailbreaking, so they are always working on finding ways to either disable the jailbreak and/or revoke your ability to use applications when a jailbreak is detected. And unfortunately, jailbreak detection does exist for certain apps and most will just crash upon detection.

That being said, there are a number of detection bypasses out there that may be able to help you when dealing with those pesky applications. 

It will void your warranty if proven. So restore/remove the jailbreak prior to getting any services done on your device.

NOTE: IT IS NOT ILLEGAL TO JAILBREAK

When adding your prospective tweak is considered, sometimes additional repositories are required to be added. Simply open "Cydia" and navigate to the "Sources" tab, click "Edit", add and paste the link to the repo. Once Cydia is done, all the packages offered within that repository will be at your disposal. Search the name, and install!

Hey bud, sorry for the delay man, currently in the middle of moving across the country. Geosnow (one of the major jailbreak hackers and part of the development team for UnC0ver) tweeted on Friday (25-September-2020) that there has been amazing progress on an exploit that may set the stage for all iOS 13 (including 13.7) he announced that the 13.7 jailbreak should be released soon. No timeline as of yet, but just have faith that the devs are working on the solution!!
