I can’t seem to open the application on Mac Because at launch the App says

“failed to check for update... fail to load system roots and no roots....”

just updated to 10.15.7 Catalina (same issue)

Can you try reinstalling?

Make sure Sideloadly isn’t being blocked by a firewall or antivirus.
