Please try installing iTunes from the first post and sync your device then try Sideloadly again.

I downloaded it from the website and set it all up again but it still comes up with:

Could my ios device not being fully updated be the problem? I don't want to fully update it because I don't have space. My software is IOS 13.3.1 and I just read someone had the same problem with the same IOS version as me could that be the problem?

I did! I managed to download the app when I removed the plugins but it kept crashing and wouldn't open
