I’m gonna get a developer certificate so I can sideload stuff without worrying about revokes.

 Why do you recommend using a throwaway account with sideloadly? I was gonna put the certificate on my normal Apple ID and just use that?

You can use whatever you like, but for safety and security reasons a disposable Apple ID is suggested.
