Ask me anything... i have a jailbroken(CFW) D-rex ps3 myself and i have helped others to jailbreak there ps3's over skype.

These are enough i guess.
Before you do anything read this!!!:

- Make sure your ps3 is on FW 3.55 or lower

- Do NOT follow YouTube videos to jailbreak/downgrade your ps3 if it's not on FW 3.55 or lower.

- If your ps3 is on FW 3.56 or higher, it WILL cost you money to have a jailbroken ps3.

- Be aware that you need experience with a jailbroken ps3 once you have it. Read a lot on forums about it, ask trusted people for help and don't go online on a jailbroken/CFW ps3 before understanding the banning system of sony. (USE A CSID CHANGER)

How much does a CSID changer costs?

There is no such thing as a CSID changer which is paid. There is a .pkg file for free for a few CFW ps3's. But you need a legit CSID by yourself and those are hard to find.

There are currently many RTM/RTE tools which have a CSID changer with it btw. BUT STILL U NEED A LEGIT CSID WHICH ARE HARD TO FIND!

Nope, maybe with an e3 flasher but that takes a lot of experience and time. You can send it or bring it to places near you which are trusted ps3 jailbreak/repair shops which can install the e3 flasher for you and downgrade your ps3 to 3.55 so you can jailbreak it. BUT there are many different ps3's, some are not able to be downgraded to FW 3.55 or lower. then it's impossible.

What i recommend is to just buy a jailbroken ps3 from a trusted seller.

i have version 4.75 but if i factory reset my ps3 would it take me to the lowest ps3 version?

no buddy , to jailbreak you require a ofw 3.55 , because you are on 4.75 you will need an e3 flasher to downgrade your console to back to ofw 3.55 then you can use a jailbreak tutorial , pm me for more information
