General Need suggestions for a Laptop

Hello guys, I wanna buy a laptop, but I need your suggestions cause I don’t wanna regret it. My budget is around $1300. Here’s my top 3 choices (from what I browse) :

 

1. Lenovo Legion Y545 

Specification:

Intel Core i7-9750H (6C / 12T, 2.6 / 4.5GHz, 12MB, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB GDDR6, 2x 8GB DIMM DDR4-2666 (16GB), 512GB SSD M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe, 15.6" FHD (1920x1080) IPS 300nits Anti-glare, 144Hz.

Price : around $1300 (In where i live)

 

2. HP Omen - DH105TX

3. Asus TUF FX505DV (they said it has bottleneck problem)

Processor : AMD Ryzen™ R7-3750H Processor   2.3GHz (6M cache, up to 4.0GHz)
Memory : RAM 8GB DDR4
Hard Drive : 512GB SSD
Graphics : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB

price: around $1100

 

Is there any of you has experienced any of these laptops? I need your reviews or opinions guys, I could afford an extra $100 bucks to get the Omen, but I don’t think RTX would make any significant difference (imo). 

if you have any recommendation for another brands around that budget i’ll accept it, please help me i’m bored with this Corona Situation a.k.a. lockdown.

I would suggest going with the best one from the list you provided because it's something you will likely keep for a few years!

Do what Rook said. Rather than constantly upgrading and losing money, you do one big investment and you’ll be running good for a long time . Also take time to read a lot of reviews, if you break any parts it’s gonna cost much more if you want a fix on laptop, so be sure it’s built correctly.

Also an SSD is quite necessary in 2020.

highly recommend against buying any of these, if you really need one right now still try to look for a sale since all three of these seem like their price from release day. 

 

For CPU with 10th gen intel now out and 4th gen ryzen mobile I have a hard time saying any of those are worth it. 3rd gen ryzen was not particularly good. 10th gen intel is weird right now with numbers saying it is 40% better and others saying depends on the manufacturer. Check the subreddit buildapcsales for laptop sales before you purchase anything

Well, that's what i had in mind, maybe i'll go for the RTX one, cause it may be useful in the future and it has Thunderbolt 3 port which is the "newest" thing for a laptop these days. Thank you guys for your POV, i appreciated it. 😇

Yeah the 10th gen intel is awesome, but i think i cannot afford it with my budgets, it costs a $2500 grand minimum. Maybe someday i'll build my PC with it. Thanks for the suggestion, i'll check buildapcsales subreddit for sales tho. 😀

Doesn't Desktop last longer than Laptops unless you wanna travel with your computer than that's a different story.

My opinion on what you’ve listed would be number 2 however if you would like something similar for closer to 1100$ let me know I just saw one yesterday
