General Found a iOS bug (NOT USEFUL)

Hey i recently found a pretty sh!tty bug on my iPhone 8. I went to general and reset all settings (which deletes passcode and thumbprint). Later that day I tried buying a pizza from dominos using the app and Apple Pay. When you try to purchase with Apple Pay and don’t have a passcode or a thumbprint it makes you make a thumbprint.... without making a passcode. Shortly after my phone shut off because it died at work the next day and I still hadn’t set up a passcode. Booted it up and now I can’t get in to my phone because it won’t let you use thumb print unlock to get in after a reboot. Is there any solution for me? My iPhone is on a jailbreakable version iOS 11.

i don’t think anyone will reply but if you could shed some light on a solution I’d very much appreciate it.

Try the passcode 0000 or 000000 or 1111 or 111111

I did try those factory passcodes but all did not work. That’s the solution that everyone gave me at the Verizon stores I went to. I would restore but I really don’t want to lose my update because I don’t know how to setup checkrain. I only have windows and I’m not familiar with linux at all.

also I’m already kinda locked out of my phone. It won’t let me try anymore passcodes. The funny think is I only got to try 5 times before it completely kicked me out.

Restore to latest ios is your last option right now sadly You can use checkn1x (checkra1n linux) to jb. It is super easy just google checkn1x

I appreciate it, thanks so much for the insight. I did watch some videos about it but the video also told me not to try unless I had knowledge of Linux prior. I’ll do more research and hopefully retain my jailbreak. Thanks so much

You don’t need to research anything. Just require a 4gb usb, download checkn1x then use Etcher to burn the iso file to usb. Open your pc and choose to boot from usb instead of windows then done, checkra1n tool will appear on your screen, nothing to do more except follow its instruction
