General I hate how apple is getting rid of the charging port :(

Some people have been saying that apple will get rid of the charging port in 2021 or something, why though? I mean it’s pretty nice to have wireless charging but what happens if it breaks? I guess just send it to apple, i’ll miss the old charging port.

Where do you hear that they are getting rid of the charging port, reason I ask cause I was thinking of getting the next iphone

Idk that’s probably get a little annoying at first but easy. I like the idea of wireless charging but I’d also like to be able to use the actual port.

 

Otherwise that’ll just render all the chargers I have left over useless. I wonder what they’d do for the earphones that must be used through the port. Unless the port is for earphones only everyone is basically forced to buy airpods then
