Hey there!

A friends iPhone got stolen and the thief has been busy travelling and taking pictures with the stolen iPhone but she apparently doesn't know how iPhones work so every picture she's taken, I can view them on another iPhone logged in to the same Apple ID.

The pictures are from the "My Photo Stream" album and the my friends current iPhone is not Jailbroken so iFunBox does not display those pictures in the Camera tab.

How can I save the Photo Stream pictures locally so I can transfer them to my PC and safe keep them for proof and for other science reasons. :v

Well if your trying to get the photo stream photos on your iOSDevice then what I do is go to the photo stream, go on the photo you want and click edit, it asks you to make a duplicate, dupe it and it goes on your iOSDevice. From there you can put it onto the computer as normal

When you connect the phone to your PC, does the popup "What do you want to do with this device" come up?

Are the photos in there? If they are, you can make a folder and drag and drop the pictures.

I don't want to send them to a new album which will then convert them to local photos because the two iPhones are connected. Won't she be able to see the new album? :dunno:

Nah, the camera folder is empty: http://i.imgur.com/ABc4d91.png

Make the new album and call it, "I can see you"

So you dont want the thief to see you having his pictures?

@@DiDA Here is a complex idea, use reflector or a mirror program on your comp and record you going throught the photo stream pics and show the vid as proof or screenshot the frames on your comp

I think I messed it up. I added the Photo Stream pictures to a new album and they apparently got removed from the Photo Stream which means they are no longer on her device also?

I did get them on the computer though but I didn't want her to suspect anything that we're spying on her and the iPhone. Gathering more data then calling the police.
