Yesterday i was able to modify and disable the antidebugger of an app and able to attach gdb. But earlier when i was trying to attach gdb on that app a segfault 11 appeared. I opened the binary using hex editor and i just found out that the codes i modified yesterday reverted to its original codes. How did this happen? I never reinstalled/upgraded the app. Does the game dev has the ability to modify the binary even without updating thru appstore?

:dunno:

You can also write a tweak which disables ptrace on the binary. No need to copy over the modified binary and stuff.

Found the culprit. I accidentally enabled locationholic again.

Ah, so the issue was that the Binary was unchanged but locationholic caused the segmentation fault 11?
