Help/Support [Help] IDA Pro STR x8 instead of r0 what to change it to?

Hey guys,

So I’m new to IDA, i was just wondering in IDA all the strings when I open I.e “not enough coins” it show up with x’s like the STR (store Register) has x8. (I think that just means Arm64? That’s what google gave me 😂)

All the tutorials on here talk about for Instant about STR r0 not x’s either.

so I was wondering if I have I.e STR X8 [ST]

what do I need to change it to?

like for r0 I need to change it to r8 or r6 (= round about 800 something Million).

R for armv7 X for arm64

and not everything you want you will get it in some games you can’t hack coins & gems and for start using IDA i prefer to start hacking easy games and avoid sub_x for now

so I try an easy game at the moment where coins are easy to find, which is arm64 and in the tutorials here they always change I.e r0 to r8 (wich is round about 803 Mill.) but when I have a STR x8 what do I need to change that to?
