If I used imazing to backup the ipa then could I delete the game from the ipad then restore the ipa via imazing and that would do it?

Hi (sorry very new to ios so maybe ask silly questions but I have googled to no avail). Basically as the title, is there a way to delete app data without uninstalling the game/app? My boy has a game and you cannot reset to the start, its ongoing. But at some point I know he will want to reset so I am trying to find out how to delete the app data so he can start from the beginning. I am aware one method is to uninstall and reinstall the game, BUT this would update to the current version and he has autism and so does not like changes, so I would want to stay with the version that is installed. So rather than uninstall/reinstall is there some way to just only delete the app data (as there is on android tablets)? I am using an ipad-mini (current) with current ios (though we also have an older ipad mini-2 as well for an older game so hoping any method works on both) Thanks for any help at all. Alex

Hi So I am totally new to the whole ipad and jailbreaking scene so have done many searches but hoping this question will get my answer as I am getting a bit lost. Firstly, I can get a bit ocd-paranoid about preserving my tablets because my little boy has autism and doesnt understand changes, so whatever I get I try to have full local backups of so I can recreate it if/when tablets break and need replacing. So... I have an Ipad Mini2 and it is jailbroken with cydia (installed via sideloadly), both of which I have the original files on my windows pc so thats good. However I then have two really useful programs that I had to download from repos online. They work great but I am worried for if the repo location dissapears (I have seen repos gone for other stuff I tried to get this past week). So with these things installed on my tablet is there a way to kind-of back them up onto PC? So I could reinatall later without the need for the repo? Not sure if its okay to list apps got from repos so I havent (yet) listed the names of them unless people say it would help to know. Thank you so much for your time in reading and thank you for any advice. PS: I really am VERY new to this so if at all possible, easy uncomplicated procedures would be best Thanks again

Hi As some other mentions, I also am unsure of the difference between F D I4 and I8 values. Ive seen they mean things like "Float" etc but dont know what that means in respect of the values being searched. Are there any basic rules that define what each of these are generally attributed to please?

HI I have a decrypted app running but even though my device is jailbroken with Chimera the overlay doesnt seem to work. So does that mean if I use this method it will intergrate it with the app and thus maybe work (to get extra ingame coins) ? I am very new to this so please advice appreciated. If the answer to this is yes, can I sideloadly the app over the existing one with the addition of this DEB file and will that work, WITHOUT losing current in-game progress (similar to using sideloadly to re-sign an app)? Job done. Used the Igamegods package to decrypt and then sideloadly to install and it looks to be working. phew!!!! Thanks to all those who helped and game advice

Hi Please help. Whats the difference between Decrypt&ipa and Decrypt&ipa-bfdecrypt? And does the encrypted app you are decrypting need to be signed in to the apple-account it was downloaded with to be decrypted or can a n encrypted sideloadly app be decrypted okay? All I want to do is get a decrypted version of an ipa that is no longer in the appstore but my friend has it on their account. I just want a decrypted version that I can sideload to another tablet please (if needed I can use their account to download it, I already have an encrypted ipa from them). I have jailbroken the tablet with chimera and have managed to install filza and igamegod but I just want to know I am going to do the right thing next please. Thank you

Hi again to anyone following. I hope its okay to run something past you all please. I have a plan and then 3 questions at the end. Hopefully my plan sounds workable but I am so new to all this. I have read so much and its hard to know what is current or out of date. I managed to get the IPA from a friend but its encrypted to their account so I cannot play. However, I plan to do the following but as I am new to it I dont know if each of my stages is the best way to do it: 1: Jailbreak a spare ipad-mini2 I have. I plan to use Altdeploy and Chimera with Sileo (are these good choices?) 2: Install the game using my friends account so it will be accessable temporarily on my ipad as a working game 3: Use dumpdecrypter (if I can find a working download) to dump a decrypted version of the games IPA file 4: Sign out of my friends account and delete the installed game. 5: Use something like sideloadly to install the decrypted dump ipa file to the ipad and hopefully it works. Question 1: Is there a reliable download for dumpdecrypter I can save the file to my pc for backup purposes or can it only be got via an ipad store? Question 2: Is there something better than sideloadly for a jailbroken ipad because I have read it needs to re-sign the app every 7 days or it will not work? But I get that this was designed for non-jailbroken devices so is there a better way for jailbroken? Question 3: Is there then an app for a jailbroken device that will emulate in-app-purchases because the decrypted app will not be able to access the apple store.? Thank you for any help you can give. I now have the IPA from a friend. I assume its encrypted to their account. Please can I ask the best way now to decrypt it to install it to my ipad. Im assuming imazing wont do it because of encryption though not yet tried that

For anyone following: It looks like the game is no longer in the general app store, however I have found a person who used to have the game and using their purchased items in their account they are still able to download the game. Sooo once they download the game we are hoping they can extract the IPA file and send it to me. However... I think it will be encrypted to their account yes? So not installable direct to my ipad??? Is there a process on decrypting the IPA so I can then install it ( and if I need to jailbreak my tablet then so be it ) Thanks

Are the versions listed in the decrypted store of this iosgods website the only versions also available from the official apple app store because there seem to be some big missing chunks in version numbers on the list? Or is there anywhere else they are available from please?

Ah so the name change now makes sense thank you so much. Ive looked through quite a lot of older versions that I could find and not found one with the yellow health bars that matches the videos but you certainly know much more than me so I will keep my fingers crossed thank you Edit: If the date of the name change is known then that might put a highlight closer to when it changed. Sadly this company changes the game a LOT so there are loads of differences between versions which may make it hard/impossible to get I just dont know.

Oh and also, just to add, the main feature of the videos that my little boy is desperate for is the fact the health bars of the dinosaurs in the battle scenes are yellow (whereas in other versions, and all the android versions, the health bars are green). I know that seems unimportant but thats how his autism works

I think one of the problems might be this: This particular developer when on android has a couple of different versions of the game, similar and sharing graphics/mechanics etc but not exactly the same, very minor differences and a different name (Dino World and Dino Zoo). The person who made the youtube video has said that the Dino Zoo in the apple app store that you linked is the game, BUT I have a sad suspicion that the developer might have used to had a second version of the game, called Dino World, that is no longer in the app store and thus why I cannot locate it at all. This would be the one needed. Is there anyway to see snapshots of the older app store to see if the variant Dino World used to exist there but no longer does? At least it would give me some closure even if I cannot get hold of it. Thanks again to everyone

Hi I managed to get the process above to work but it wasnt the version I was hoping for, so now I do not yet know which version I am after. Its basically a youtube video that my little boy has seen and I am trying to find the same version but now I am not sure how to find it without trying every version I can find. All I have to go on is the visuals in the video and yes I believe thats the app.

Please help, I have really tried the FAQs, online guides, youtube videos and really struggling. Ive read the posting guide and think I am following all guidelines. Been so much to read. My little boy is Autistic and doesn’t understand some things so I am really desperate as this is upsetting him greatly. Please help. Basically, I am trying to load an older app version onto my ipad for my son. I already have the current version downloaded from the official store so its recognised in my apple account as an app I own. So I am just trying to sort out an older version. (The older version is visibly different which is why he wants that one). The app is currently uninstalled. My ipad is the ipad mini latest one and running ios14. It is not jailbroken. I have purchased VIP status on this website for your appstore. I also purchased imazing and Anytrans which say they can load/install IPA files. I found a supposedly older IPA on a different store-website and tried to install it via imazing and Anytrans and they both say it “failed” but don’t elaborate why. I don’t know if its because the ipa I got is corrupted or is it because its described as decrypted? I don’t know. Maybe its because imazing and Anytrans cannot install ipas afterall though they seem fine with ipas they themselves create from backing them up off my device. Anyway, I located the game in your store and tried to download an older ipa from your store, but it says my quota is reached, despite me upgrading to VIP, so I don’t know why my quota is zero, but I am having to wait until tomorrow to try that again. I have seen there is a thing called sideloadly but I am trying to avoid that because the fact it needs to keep verifying the app every 7 days scares me because if the app stops, my autistic son will be devastated. Also, sideloadly says it will not end up allowing in-app purchases which my son will likely need. So trying to avoid using sideloadly but if that’s the only way then please advise. Thats why I was trying to use imazing and Anytrans instead of sideloadly. Seeing as in my apple account I technically “own” this app (and it is a free app anyway) I really just want a way to be able to simply get an older IPA and install it to my device so the device/store/etc just sees it as legitimate and I can carry on using it no problems, that’s all I need. But I have read so much info and out-of-date stuff I am lost and out of my depth. Also, jailbreaking scares me and I have heard horror stories of suddenly the device not working when apple updates things. So thats why Ive not done that.
