  1. I loved Sekaiichi Hatsukoi~! > w< I watched that one after I saw Junjou Romantica, which is my all time favorite. Gravitation is another good one. ^-^
  2. I would think so. o: If we're tortured to go through CAD, I cannot imagine they wouldn't have some sort of programming in their curriculum. Even if it's incredibly basic, I think a skill like that is necessary in just about every engineering field. ^-^
  3. Mechanical Engineering deals with the design and manufacture of mechanical systems. Mechanical engineers make an impact in almost every aspect of modern society, due to the vital roles they play in the design and production of all material goods. Areas of study include machine design, robotics, manufacturing processes, thermodynamics and engines, fluid flow, composite materials properties, dynamics, acoustics, finite element analysis, and computer-aided design. Specific fields of study can range from biomechanics and assistive technologies for the disabled to automation and robotics systems, engine and propulsion systems, and the design of ships, submarines, aircraft and spacecraft. As copied from my (future) university's webpage. Part of me cringes each time I read it. ;^-^ My parents chose it for me - it was either this, or Aeronautical, which... just... no. No. The only engineering student stereotype I know I follow is that I'm super good at Jenga. > w>
  4. When I say basic, I mean incredibly basic. ;^-^ Just by reading the tutorials on the Oracle site, I ended up knowing more than my teacher by the end of the course. Yay, lazy technology teachers~ I was considering Computer Science for a while, but my parents were dead set on having a female engineer daughter. My sisters went on to do dance, and the other does music psychology. When I showed more of a science-y interest, they went full force into it and took over with choosing everything. ;^-^
  5. And as always, I will SEE YOU... in the next video! Buh-bye!

  6. Good afternoon! My name is Lauren, age seventeen. c: My home is over in Bretagne, which is in France. Right now, my house is in Montpelier, Vermont (chose to move there because it reminds me of home just by the name! I came here to pursue a better education, and my major is mechanical engineering. I figured joining some more American forum sites may help, so. Here I am, come to embarrass myself with how little I know about hacking... anything (all I can do is basic java coding.) I'm pretty relaxed, but know that if Bohemian Rhapsody comes on, I will deliver the most mesmerizing performance that you will ever witness. My hobbies include Netflix binge watching, playing jazz and taking long walks to the fridge. I'm really happy to be a member of this site, and I'm looking forward to talking to all of you, eventually! c: tl;dr: Lost my parents at a young age, grew up in the shadows, and now deliver my own style of vigilante justice.
  7. This song has been on pretty constant repeat in my room for a while. c:
  8. Currently, I'm playing (super) catch up with DRR! season 2, Free! season 2, and Love Stage! ... Every anime I watch has an exclamation point at the end. I wonder if this says something about me.
  9. 1551. c: (which is considerably less fun than 1550.)
