are you both on arm64 devices ? if you are that could be the problem. not sure how to fix that except to hack 64bit part but i dont have a 64bit device to do that.

try thinning the binary and changing permission then back up your original, and replace it with the one you thinned. Then reboot device and turn on hacks.

if is inconvenient to use then dont use the hack dude. i will add no crash when i figure out how to. yes uninstall previous hack through cydia and install this new one. do you have a 64 bit device or 32bit . you should still be able to play single player mode and do events that are not multiplayer. Or you can always unban yourself with the tools we have in this site. and start fresh and only use the all cars unlocked and no speed limit it may be less suspicious. oh and the free store.
