  1. I think you'll need to place the embed code in a DIV or something where you can 'embed' the code into, like place inside. Not really sure, but maybe if you try this in your CSS: opacity: 0; OR display: none;
  2. For a regular desktop background, I recommend 1920x1080. For a retina display, make it double that size, so: 3840x2160 because retina displays hold 2 pixels for every pixel spot. Similar to iPhones and other devices. A regular one is probably 320x568. But retina displays are double that in resolution. As for the background, a simple Apple logo with a clean, slanted shadow on the logo, and some words below it should cover every necessity, unless the user is asking for more than simplicity of course
  3. I've been learning Flat Design on After Effects, and I love it! I'll make a small tutorial in the future :)

  4. It can be done in Photoshop, although the process is way more tedious and requires a LOT more work But most of the assets needed to create an AE intro is used in Photoshop, so, yeah.
  5. Any quote is a good one, unless it's bad Thanks I'll keep in touch with some high-end web junkies once I graduate so I can promote iOSGods
  6. Yeah I had trouble with that one as well. Still dunno why that is.

  8. Hey guys! Just wanted to briefly talk to you about something. My Future University! So I've been attending several presentations on universities around the world, hoping to find one that suits me. And I think I've found it! Monash University No, I am not here to advertise a university, but I will explain why I chose this one above all others. 1. They have a massive amount of international students, which means that it is diverse. 2. They have campuses everywhere. I mean EVERYWHERE. Some in Malaysia, some in Australia, China, you get the picture. 3. They have double degree courses, which means you can graduate with 2 majors instead of 1, so you have a broader range of skills you are qualified to attain. 4. The costs of the classes I wish to take are relatively cheaper than most universities, so that is quite a boost for me. 5. Scholarships are incredibly moderate. And they have over 200 kinds of scholarships, worth up to $70,000!!! Here is a link to their site: http://www.monash.edu/ For those of you who know me, once I begin a resume and CV, it would be so kind of you guys to help me out by quoting what a good person I am, as that will boost my chances of getting a scholarship. In the future, if I do attain a scholarship and get a good job, I'll reward you (I won't forget, I promise) Should I choose this university? Or not? Comments and feedback below.
  9. Nice carriers! Sorry, but I don't need one ATM. Just came here to say that they look impressive!
  10. Designing for apps is a lot harder than desktops. I gotta give credit to those designers!

  11. I love making smoke gifs I make them for free, but if people want mine to be attribution free (don't have to say who it was made by), I charge a small fee of $0.01, and I give them a complimentary badge I also do explosions, water, lasers, characters, material design and a bunch of other stuff, with Illustrator and After Effects combined
  12. Yeah, the sites are basically the names of the companies, and then a .com or a .net
  13. So, for those of you who are learning stuff about web design and code, these sites are sure to help you! CSS-Tricks I highly recommend this site if you want to know some incredible tips and tricks with CSS. Tympanus (CoDrops) These guys have an amazing set of tutorials, as well as freebies, showcases and more! CallMeNick Similar to Tympanus, yet just as amazing. TreeHouse These guys have an extensive set of tutorials, as well as videos! (Get a free subscription for a month) Hope you guys learn more new things!
  14. Nice work! Keep learning, and you'll definitely get into the team Learn more about Aesthetics, cause you don't seem to have any focal points in most of your work. I like the GIFs though
  15. That's some quality stuff right there! Keep learning And make sure you learn stuff about smudging. That stage transforms you from being a beginner to being a pro
  16. Quick Bundle Update: Sorry it's taking this long, but to make up for it, I added some more stuff to it :D

  17. Hey guys, I really need some help with this one. So I've been given the challenge of learning at least 5 different programming/coding languages that are relatively unknown and hard. So far, I've completed 2: BEFUNGE - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Befunge and LOLCODE - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LOLCODE The challenge was to write out at least 1 sentence containing 6 words using the 5 languages. It took quite a while to complete Befunge, and LOLCODE wasn't much different. But this next one really has me tangled up. MALBOLGE - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malbolge This esoteric programming language is named after 'Malebolge', which means the Eighth Circle of Hell. Apparently, it's so hard that algorithms had to be created to write code in Malbolge. I just need to write down 6 words. But I think that's going to be quite impossible, unless someone knows how to program in this language. Does anyone know how to do this? PS: If you're wondering what the last 2 languages will be, I'm considering Ook and Piet, although Rocket could be a bit of a challenge.
  18. I know what's wrong! I've had this problem many times due to the fact that the credit card company thought I was stealing money from my parents It means that your card is declined because of an error with your balance (possibly overspending, or frozen, or put on hold). The way I got my card to not be declined is to phone the company and ask for my card to be 'un-frozen' You can also wait a whole month so that you can add your credit card info, but that takes too long
  19. Quick Bundle Update - Uploading as of this update! :D (1.26 GB)

Well, the bundle is coming out pretty soon :p

  20. Well, Illustrator is a vector-based application, meaning that you can resize files and they won't pixelate. That is already a HUGE advantage against Photoshop
  21. I've used a bunch of C4Ds and fractals before, but I'm still a bit shaky with them That's why I've moved on to corporate and business designs. I'm currently working in Illustrator with the pen-tool.
  22. For those of you waiting for the release of my bundle, hold on! It's coming, just as soon as my family matters are resolved :)

Take your time. And wish you all the best regarding to your family issues.

  23. I felt like I was going back to the starting point many times as well It's common I think, in most designers. Learn, learn, learn! Even though smudging is one of the most easiest types of graphic art, people love it so much because you can do a LOT with smudging
