I did learn how to fool iTunes into thinking it was an activated phone
good for using a custom ipsw (I guess) lol -
Hahaha not really in my opinion but I figured I'd try for him
-
Idk why or what he wanted it for the issue is actually now activating it with no sim [emoji19] (he lost the SIM card door)
-
 It wasn't that hard, I am usually pretty good with those things
the power button is fried though nothing I can do for it without replacing it I reset it into place and got the button working right but it doesn't actually do anything
-
I brought it home with me and I currently have it torn apart to try to fix the power button
and I think another ribbon was unconnected inside...I'm starting to reassemble so we will see
if not i'll grab redsnow and 6.1.6 ipsw and fix it the old fashioned way
-
Well turns out he has a broken power button I've got it into DFU mode now I think I can get it from here

-
No it is NOT jailbroken, I'm going to jailbreak it if I can ever restore it, he's got it stuck in restore mode
-
Working on my brother Iphone 3g and get iTunes error while in restore mode

any ideas? Also it keeps boot cycling while connecting to iTunes

Sometimes its just as important to skip steps as it is to do them all in order -

AppCake apps are already cracked which is why you could install it in the first place.

I was going through the process to strip arm64 and armv7 from the binary and was doing it as it had came from the appstore....stupid mistake

-
OHHHHHH okay so complete idiot moment here lets pretend this conversation never happened just had a realization....I installed the app from Appcake to have an older version (obviously it doesnt need ran through clutch if it came from Appcake)
-
The finished IPA isn't actually finished. It has encountered lots of errors as you can see.

Are there any extra things I need to make Clutch work properly?
-

What did I do wrong? The finished .ipa cannot be extracted using either 7zip or winrar (I've tried changing the file extension to .zip as well.) -
The one from our repo?

That's pretty outdated tbh.
Try installing the one from cydia.iphonecake.com and test it out.
Well Its going through the initial setup now I'll keep you posted

That fixed it thanks Dida!!
-
Hmmm

Where did you download Clutch from and which version?
well I had the newest version but it wasnt working (obviously due to my not using a capitol C) now I have the one from our repo
-
The error is pretty self explanatory.

I am not seeing the obvious
do I have Clutch in the wrong place? Surely the 20 apps I have from the app store arent all unencrypted -
now i get There are no encrypted applications on this device

-
I installed clutch and ios toolchain on my iPhone 6+ (trying to strip a binary to make a hack work). In terminal I change to root and type clutch but get command not found. I'm running iOS 8.1 pangu jailbreak
any help is much appreciated

Merry Christmas (or whatever holiday you're celebrating :))
