If you're jailbroken you can use the tweak app admin to downgrade any app to its previous version.

There might be a risk that version 3.8.5 will gather your data and send it to the servers, better stay on 3.8.5 and change the "info.plist'' with fileza to 3.8.5 so you can enjoy the game but without the updates.
