Heyyyyyyy guys, what's up, here's a list for why you should, and why you should not update to iOS 8 I didn't really know where to put this thread but i thought it had a certain 'tutorial' essence to it so i posted it here. DiDA if you want to move it, go ahead. Reasons to update! 1) 3rd party keyboards! Single handedly < have no idea how to spell that... a reason on it's own to update to Apple's latest firmware. With a host of paid and free keyboards available!! 2) Widgets! At this moment in time there aren't many but in the coming weeks devs will update there apps for these s**y widgets 3) Battery usage monitor! Apple have generously presented us with a built in battery usage monitor page which can be found in settings>general>usage. 4) Continuity! Probably the main features of this update, more here: https://www.apple.com/uk/ios/whats-new/continuity/ 5) An improved spotlight search Reasons not to update! 1) Can be slow on older devices, however its fine for me 2) At this moment in time it can take hours to download. Do yourself a favour and hold off. 3) A jailbreak could take months to release. That's all my creative mind could think of! Anything more? Be sure to comment below!

Heeeeey guys, been a while but im doing a tutorial on how to change your iOS Carrier of your device, but i wont go into depth! This tutorial will be for windows, for those looking for Mac OS X , check this out: http://www.iphonehacks.com/2012/12/change-iphone-carrier-logo.html For windows, 1) Download this: http://danyl.net/CustomCarrierLogo_0.0.3.zip 2) *PLEASE EXTRACT ALL FILES, THEY LOOK WEIRD BUT EVERYTHING WILL BE OK! 3) Now, after extraction run the exe. 4) Go through the steps (They are self explanatory!) you can choose to use an image or text. 5) Create the IPCC file. 6) Open iTunes and ensure that your device is connected to your computer. Select your device and navigate to the device summary page. Hold Shift on your keyboard and click the Restore button. In the drop down menu in the bottom right-hand corner, select iPhone/iPad Carrier Configuration. Next, select the .ipcc file not labeled Original on your desktop. Your carrier settings will be updated, and you should see the Carrier logo change to the logo that you selected. 7) Done!!
