Go to cydia and select installed packages. There should be one called ffbe or something similar. Uninstall that one and install the new version. No clue if you can overwrite the new one with the old one, but install it just to be safe.

Alright, woke up today and appstore updated my apps and with enough patience I can download apps again. This'll do. I might restore when I get home if it's too annoying, but thanks a lot for the great help everyone!

Place the file with the correct permissions/group/owner in the folder and not much changed. Installing apps or updating them through appstore is impossible. I get a "x can't be downloaded/installed right now" message. Apps installed through appcake crash upon opening. I have moved past the loading freeze in cydia, so I can install tweaks again.

9.3.3, alright I am able to install through appcake, so that's progress. Apps still are uninstallable though

Your best bet is to keep tabs on the topic and wait for the dev to either release it or make a statement.

Hard reboot and try again. Make sure to wait 6 seconds. Had the same problem a while back. Reboot seemed to help it. Keep me posted!

I spent 2 hours trying to download the appsync31 deb from the hackyouriphone repo, but for some reason I can't. Apt-get keeps giving me the package is obsolete or blablabla, so I can only manage one from another source. If you could please take a look if it's something I can fix without a comp that'd be amazing.

On a holiday atm, so I don't have my computer. I do have iFilza though, so I can at least access my files that way. (And apt-get)

The problem persists even though I've managed to delete the files for some reason.

That doesn't work, because I've already uninstalled/deleted it. (Just to be sure I checked just now, but I got the message that it isn't installed)
