I think you plug it into your computer and either go onto iTunes and trust from their or it will automatically pop up

I found a couple things on google such as, make sure it's updated or re-install it, be logged into your iTunes account. Also try turning on aeroplane mode and logging out of iCloud Turn find my iPhone off Use original cable ( this worked for me when I got the error) Or try and "trust" your computer again Good luck Let me know if it helps
