Correcting myself. Now the diamonds appear in a long negative number but it doesn't work, says you don't have enough diamonds and asks if you want to purchase some in the specialty shop.

Update: some features work some don't. I don't have unlimited diamonds/coins and can't purchase things in the store, but the manaphy feeding fever part works.
