That tutorial was made in 2013 and it will not work on my Google Pixel. I need someone who already rooted their Pixel or a tutorial that was made atleast 2 months ago

I don't really know how to "issue a fastboot flashing unlock command followed by fastboot oem unlock". I don't want to do it from un-trusted sources and brick my phone.
