If the app isn’t on the AppStore there isn’t much I can do about it

I’ve been seeing comments about this only working sometimes, I’ve reached the conclusion that maybe the game has bots and only works against them. I can’t be certain of this since it worked for every match I tested after the tutorial, if someone with more game experience can tell that would be great.
