EDIT : OK HERE IS THE FIX FOR THE ERROR I GOT : - RESTORE IPHONE TO NEW - JAILBREAK - RESTORE YOUR BACKUP - GO TO CYDIA -> DOWNLOAD FILZA - GO TO FILZA -> GO TO -> var/mobile/library/preferences delete -> Com.saurik.Cydia.plist and reboot

Alright, just did the fresh install and indeed cydia is working correctly now... however I still didn't restore my backup...

that's why I find it weird... any idea.. The work around that could fit, is restoring my device to a new iphone, without restoring my backup.. jailbreak then eventually restore my backup..? am I going to lose the jailbreak?

Iphone 6S.... honestly I've always jailbroke my iphones always with success.. it is really frustrating.....

I did all the updates before jailbreaking that's what I meant... and indeed I restored each time to scrap

I updated my phone with the last version thru itunes, also updated itunes to the last version released - first tried the chinese version, using the safari method - everything went correctly until I opened cydia - cydia won't refresh and I got that error thing : "method has died..........sub process.... signal 5" , then i tried using the cydia impactor method as soon as the profiles were not signed anymore with apple - once again everything went correctly until cydia gave me that error again... lastly I tried installing with Xcode, which once again worked, until cydia got me this error. I think I did everything correctly...

I did.. tried like 5 times already... no effin clue...

Well, hello there... I'm having the same issue, however I don't have the luck to have Ifile or any other files manager installed thru cydia on my phone. I didn't instal any tweaks, nor sources, nor anything on cydia since it wont load, since i can't access the sources tab either.

I'm taking a look right now, and I will let you know. Thanks EDIT : I don't have any software to access to the jailbreak or roots files of my iphones, I don't have ifile, not filza, not ifunbox since i don't have the tweak to allow the access... if you have any solution for this. thanks

Thanks, I also guessed that it was from repos, however I have no access to anything to edit them nor delete them.. this is my new phone, which have never been JBroken before.. by the way I have no access to any tweak.. just so you know. Thanks

Thanks for the help, I used the safari method, then the "saurik method" then the Xcode method, the jailbreaks were all successful however the cydia issue kept coming back with the same error, and crashing when trying to access to the sources...

Any work around for MAC? thanks though.

Iphone 6S - 9.3.3 i did update with itunes .. and restored many times already..

i didn't install anything since the first thing I get when I open cydia is this error, whenever I press the sources tab it crashes also... no idea what to do, my phone has never been jailbroken before..

Hi there you guys! I did try the jailbreak, I followed the instructions couple times.. did it again and again then just stopped everything since cydia is not even loading, i'm getting an error when trying to refresh cydia the red error is : "method http has died unexpectedly sub process http received signal 5, and cydia is crashing when I'm trying to go into sources.
