Hi, So many people on the forum seem to be confused on how jailbreaking, downgrading and stuff works. Let's start from the beggining. Every so often Apple update their iOS versions. So we started on like iOS 3.0 and it has progressed right up to iOS 9.3.1. All iPhones below iPhone 4 are stuck on iOS 7.1.2 (Unless not updated) and can not be updated past that. Apple don't sign these phones anymore and have no further responsibility over them. (Never will they be updated again). Any phone above iPhone 4 can receive the latest firmware releases ATM: iPhone 4s, 5, 5C, 5S, 6, 6S, 6 Plus, 6S Plus, SE. When it comes to downgrading apple stop signing a certain firmware after around 2 weeks to 1 month of a newer firmware being released. What I mean by this is... for E.G Apple released iOS 9.1.. Then a few weeks later iOS 9.2 and 9.2.1 came out. Once the release of iOS 9.2 and 9.2.1 apple will stop signing iOS 9.1 which means you CAN NOT! downgrade to that firmware. It's impossible. iTunes will just give you an 300043 error or something when it get's to a certain point in the downgrade. You can view what firmwares are still being signed and for what devices on https://ipsw.me/all When it comes to jailbreaking an iDevice, pretty much all older iOS Firmwares except 9.2, 9.2.1 and 9.3 and 9.3.1 are jailbreakable. The only people you want to trust on release of a jailbreak is Pangu, TaiG, iH8Sn0w and Luca Todesco (If he ever actually releases his own). How do you jailbreak? Jailbreaking is as easy as squeezing chips and only requires 2 programs to do it. iTunes and the Jailbreak software created by either of the mentioned above. (I recommend subscribing to the provided youtuber to keep informed on latest jailbreak news). Jailbreak Steps: Connect your iDevice into your computer and load up iTunes. Make sure you have "Find my iPhone" turned OFF! Make sure you have disabled and removed any TouchID or Pass unlock on your phone as this can cause issues. Once you have done the following download the Jailbreak software (Links will be provided and posted when they DROP). Once downloaded open up the Program and wait for it to find your iDevice then click Start... Easy as that... Nothing else to do, anything you maybe required to do! will pop up on your PC Screen or your iPhone screen. How do you downgrade? Disable Find my iPhone feature from Settings>> iCloud Download the signed firmware according to your device's model numberConnect your iPhone/iPad to the PCLaunch iTunes and select the iS deviceHold Alt/Option key on Mac, or Shift key on Windows and click Check for Update option, but not Restore iPhone optionSelect the ipsw file you have downloaded in previous stepiTunes will now update your device to iOS *.* and verify it with Apple. Click Update iTunes will downgrade your iOS device to iOS *.*Once the process is completed, your iOS device will restart. Once you see Slide to upgrade, enter your passcode and wait until the downgrade process finishes. You might get prompt to activate your deviceEnjoy your jailbreak. that's not so easy to say... I believe it took TaiG 9 months to find a jailbreak for iOS 8.4?... It could be months before your confirmation becomes known or not lol.

So... The other day I received a message from someone on Facebook on a PS3 jailbreak page... The question was "Do you think hacking and jailbreaking will ever be patched". My answer is this... No... Allow me to explain my opinions and my reasons why. I've been coding games and applications for as long as I can remember which is 4-5 years, and not once have I found ways to stop people getting or making hacks or whatever for my games and applications. The issue is with hacking and jailbreaking, is the technologies are always 1 step ahead of the developers project. It's easy enough for us to patch what makes your hacks and stuff work... but it's hard for us to predict ontop of that what your next tool you make can do. Take for E.G... Brave Frontier. It's been around for years... Gumi have billions of £ behind them from the making of it, and still people on this forum are able to do certain mods / hacks in the game. It's been updates are updates after updates by Gumi to bring new content and try patch these things but they just simply can't because as I said... Hacking is always 1 step ahead. Their will be the odd few mods and hacks that will be removed from games as times go on, but in that time their will always be a new mod / hack the becomes available to the game. When it comes to jailbreaking, will this ever be patched... It's a simple NO again. The more apple update their devices they are bringing in new kernals all the time. As long as apple keep bringing in new updates, new iOS versions, new everything... it will always be jailbreakable. Obviously the more they update the harder it becomes but it's always possible. Just requires time and effort and skill to do it. If your opinions are different post them below, i'd be interested to read but I believe what I say is true.

You're either not reading properly... Can't read... Or plain dum... Why does it matter if you share CC's or Addresses or not? You're gaining access and sharing public accounts of people on a website... THIS IS ILLEGAL!!!!! Someone could access that account and just take all that persons personal information... Doesn't matter if you post it here for everyone to see or not... once in the account they can see it. Will you please use your brain. You should be lucky you're allowed to crack because cracking is illegal when it comes to personal information such as email addresses and passwords... If you're cracking an application for a Key Code or something that's different... No personal information! Why do you think I said... You're lucky you're even allowed!... Pointless... Update will patch it immediately, and it won't be like anything the PS3 had such as MultiMAN (MMCM) or CCAPI or whatever. The requirements to do what this developer is working on mentions it requires a PS4 on Firmware 1.76. Unfortunately the PS4 will never be downgradable in firmware as mentioned before it's not a Developers firmware that can be downgraded... It's a server system now. So anyone who actually has a Offline PS4 on 1.76 will be selling them around for a lot of money! just so people can do this... But once again... the moment you upgrade the kernal/Exploit bug that Zer0xFF found will be patched upon console update... So realistically the only way for this to stick and work for you, is to just never go online. Also... Since sony made the PS4 server based and not a Developers firmware upgrade, unfortunately for anyone with a PS4 that decides to do this once released... Sony CAN force update your PS4 without your concent... Every console has an IP + a code which is obviously monitored by Sony. It was heavily monitored on PS3 also, that's why us Jailbreakers (Such as myself) get something called CID banned (Console Banned) which essentially should stop us going online. If... and it's a big IF Zer0xFF finds a way to change your CID on a PS4 then it could be safe to say, you MAY! be able to try mod away on your PS4 and change your CID, but then you run the risk of actually trying to find one... You could be banned for months if not maybe a year before you find another one, and by that time sony will find a way to patch running Linux OS on the PS4. From where I am sitting anyone who is highly interested in trying to take this on, I would highly recommend that you do not take the risk unless you're a famous youtuber who makes loads of money to test technical thing and destroy them. If you want a jailbreak to mod games, just go get a PS3 and an E3 Nor Flasher and do it that way. I don't think PS3 will go out of date anytime soon. As I mentioned before with regards to having CCAPI and Multiman with Rebug Toolbox etc... You wouldn't even be able to spoof all this imformation to stop sony updating you manually... Which means Sony can literally see what's happening the moment you tamper with it. That was a good thing about PS3... They couldn't do any of that to us... But they obviously found a way to stop their first mistake.

All PS3' can be jailbroken except the Super Slim. The older gen consoles are A2003 or below, allowing them to be jailbroken! The latest firmware is 4.78 however you need an E3 Flasher and some soldering kit to make the JB happen. The E3 Flasher will downgrade your PS3 firmware to version 3.55 which then you upgrade using a CFW via USB. You can have 2 types of Jailbreaks, CEX or DEX. Both work almost the same, except DEX goes a bit more in depth when it comes to a jailbreak allowing you to see further into your console and games than CEX but it's not really much stuff to play with unless you're a developer looking to make something.
