All the Sega Heroes hacks I found are outdated. The game forces you to update to the latest revision before you can actually log into the game and start playing it. So I uninstalled the game, installed the hacked version, trusted the certificate, ran the game and it prompted me to update it. I had to delete the game again before I could re-install it from the App Store. Once I reinstalled it from there, everything was back to normal.
