  1. Edit : I believe this post should be moved to request but I couldn't find it. Hello iOSGods community. There is something recent trending on whatsapp, where people just send you texts that are around 65536 characters with special ones to literally freeze your iPhone whatsapp or Android Whatsapp for each platform has different kind of virus, those that affect android won't affect IOS and those who do won't affect android. So I was wondering if there's anyway to counter these messages. One of them was if there's anyway you can force your whatsapp to give you the message saying : "Waiting for this message. This May take a while" so that won't load the message containing the crashing symbols, hence you won't get frozen. Or perhaps method 2. Make a button that when toggled, runs an algorithm to check if the sender's message contains more than 3000 characters, or whatever you choose it to check for so if this message does, it'll replace it with any other message, mainly "This message might contain a virus" or whatever, I know this is only visually but this is exactly what we want it to be since the message affects you cause of it's visual form that is making you crash (I've read something like unicode characters and like left to right texts that forces your phone to use unicode which crashes it, or whatever that was I read) So if it's possible or a tutorial perhaps. I do have a jailbroken iPhone for that and a rooted android as well, I believe that if it is possible I'd need some root access to download the new file/apk/ipa.
