I’m level 29 and I get prompted for boosters. I think that happened at a certain level if I remember correctly (as did each booster unlock before that at various levels).

I just tried another game "Grim Legends 1" I think was the title and did not have any issues, I also played through the tutorial again because I deleted my save and started from scratch with this version.
