Yes, once the card gets to the max “X”, then it will start selling the card for souls and coins.

Worked for me on Kintaros challenge yesterday. Let me try it out right now. Edit: still works, I didn’t complete all the towers, but skipped all of them and went to the last one for 50 souls. Maybe doing the glitch while the rest of the towers are done won’t work?? I barely do the glitches since I’m good on souls and characters already.

Not really, you could do this glitch with a quest that has 45 souls. Repeat the glitch 6 times and that’s basically like spending for the souls earned.
