Help/Support Anyway to manage background apps?

For some reason itransmission doesn't download torrents in the background, as soon as I press the home, switch to another app or turn off the screen, downloading stops.

I installed insomnia 6.0.1 but I'm not sure if it works on iOS 8.1.2 because it doesn't solve my issue.

Background downloading is checked in itransmission, doesn't work.

Have you tried AppCake? It can download torrents now.

I eventually managed to download a video that I wanted but I don't know how to open it. It's a 5gb .mkv file and I can't see it neither in the video app neither in the playerxtreem app. Can anyone help me?

Try AVPlayer.

 

Or just search for a video player on the app store.

App cake doesn't work very well in the background too. Seriously, there's no way to force an app to be active in the background ?

For iOS 8? I don't think so.
