I saw another user staing that a user should have posted 10 posts before being able to use the chat box function too... although I did post there, perhaps that too would be removed 🤔

My first topic was about a game called "Lophis Roguelike", or "The call of Lophis".

It's a cool card game that stopped getting updated a couple of years ago

The Facebook page of the game "Lophis" is still up. The last post states that the company decided to end operations due to worker wages and other things I don't quite recall

In all honesty, for a game to rock that actually exudes so much potential it's quite the shame 😕

Another game that rocked well was one by the name "Man or Vampire" made by, what seems to be a S. Korean company .

It kind of lacked in its storytelling as the main character seemed quite 2 dimensional. Like there were little to no dialogues between the Main Character and the minions

Well, the minions being people that could be turned into vampires or fed upon and thereby ending them.

That last option seemed... off-putting

Because as long as you, the player, played this game, as eventual as it is especially gamers who enjoy a depth to the game, would wish to see different aspects and viewpoints of inter-character dialogue, rivalry, and other such developments.

I haven't played "Arknights" or... was it "Genshin Impact"? But basically there are games where players can expand the in-game dialogue and depth of characters... I'm not even sure these games contain such functions, but unlike otome games where there's just this sad and soggy story of one guy/girl and this game is basically choices with nothing better going for it, games such as Arknights actually has a game and a side format that expands into the universe of that game by adding mechanics to interact with non playable characters (npc)

"Darkness Rises" also was epic at the start only to fall short of gameplay dynamics.

When the format you choose to run your game always functions on the same maps... yeah, it's going to get pretty mundane, pretty quick.

I swear that game was also shut down?

"Darkness Rises" came out with such a bang : it claimed that it was so epic in it's adventure, wowed on the fact that it hired voice actors to give the characters a true animative allure.

After the 3rd chapter I found myself just dragging through the levels because of how repetitive the action was.

And by no means were the graphics bad, on the contrary, the battle details were stunning.

However, that being said, although you could customise your characters... that also felt very "copy-paste"... you couldn't really change much of the features on the characters in on itself, it was just colours and length or something...

Another thing that bugged was the fact that, exactly like "Man or Vampire", "Darkness Rises" also fell short on the inter-character story. You had a sorcess, knight, assassin and lumberjack dude who had no in-game dialogues or even acknowledgement of each others' existence.

I was also eagerly scanning for such storytelling in "MoV" ("Man or Vampire").

What I must add here: everyone has tastes

Well, it's pretty simple:

The art of "Shipping" is what the otakus and so called fanfic fanatics and fans and air-conditioners and ventilators have been rampaging on since the beginning of all fairytales.

This is where otome meets gaming, simply put: allow players to choose whom to interact with, on what terms rival, enemy, friend, loyal soldier, person of interest and so on

Talking about this reminds me of "Post Knight", but that also fell short on the gameplay and cut to a halt of the inter-character depth after passing the main goodies to the girl of choosing. Although I never got to finish the game to it's end, I presume it would also have made only a little difference.

That game a had an arcade-y feel and was platform based. Fun, but only so much happens in such games anyway. Although, "Deemo" defied the odds SPOILER (and yes, Deemo should have been "bae" instead of "bro", but whatves SPOLIER END

I also need to include Tsuki's adventure and Stardew valley.

Tsuki: cute, interactive

However: very slow paced, interactions are limited, makes you wonder why you didn't spend your time actually packing your bags and going on such an adventure only until you remember why

However: only 2 kids max? Seriously? No, for real... yes there are mods available but... yeah anyway. Divorcing should be more drama-rama, like an argument, a push and pull, I don't know... it falls short on that exciting game if catch. Also, why does the MC (Main Character) have to do all the chasing? Can't I have Sebastian give me flowers or go out if his way to get me that necklace instead? Also, it lacks extensions on story after 'tying the knot'; like, what if you want to go on vay-cay-cay? What about your friends from the city? Why is the guy or girl that could have had a crush on you at school or work not following you to the city and causing more drama-gamabunta? What if forced conscription comes to play?

See what I mean?

Great, now I'm reminded of Naruto and why it triggers everytime D:<
