I can’t get pass the first mission I one hit kill the lightning dude and then the game tells me to capture him but he is dead please help

On the app, it there is a bug.

In the tutorial it tells the player to weaken the monster before catching, but the hacked attack damage one shots the monster and it forever freezes at the victory screen
