Help/Support Tap Titans 2 none-jailbreak none-VIP app crash

Hey all!

Currently on a none JB iPhone XS Max running 12.2.

Around a month ago, I installed the none JB (and none VIP) Tap Titans 2 app. Upon installing I had an issue with the app crashing when attempting to restore my TT2 account. This issue was occurring on a jailbroken iPhone 7 Plus. After fiddling around I randomly got it to work and restore my account, so I know it’s possible. I’m pretty sure I just got lucky as I didn’t do anything particularly invasive to fix it.

Fast forward to today and I’ve got a new iPhone XS Max and I’m getting the exact same issue. App opens fine, can play as normal on a new account. As soon as I attempt to restore my old account the app crashes. I should note that the VIP version of the app works without issue, but doesn’t have as many features as the none VIP (ironically).

Ive checked the error log and googled around for a solution to this stack error, but no luck:

I’ve tried everything from turning location services off, lowering my prestige level to zero, turning off WiFi etc but to no avail. Any ideas?!

EDIT: I should note I’m not the only person experiencing this.

Yup. I still have my old device and I just tested it again. Essentially, there’s a brief second where I can see the titans and it crashes (I don’t see any titans on my new device). If I frantically tap just before the crash and reopen, it seems to save my restore and works as normal. Very, very strange. This could all be conjecture and it’s something else that’s allowing the restore to work.

Just for context; the reason I prefer this mod as opposed to the VIP version is thanks to the reduced titans per stage. You essentially only hit bosses on each level and makes prestiging 20x quicker.

Don’t use so many perks and don’t buy titans ( the ppl who help you kill the enemy ) don’t use money drop a lot

EDIT: Sorry this is for a different bug... I have found the bug you are talking about and its the hack thats broken. Lots of other people are experiencing this. Sorry about that!

Hi! I’ve experienced the same problem as you. Here’s what I did to get it working after I liked my old account.

1. Link your old account and wait for the app to crash

2. After the app crashes reopen it and wait till the loading bar starts

3. When it gets near the end of the loading process, it will say “Loading scene” and at this point you will need to quickly open your control center and turn airplane mode on!

4. You will need to airplane mode on for a reasonable amount of time until you turn it off.

5. After a few times of doing this trick your game will open without crashing and you wont need to enter airplane mode anymore to start the app.

NOTE: Some progress will seem like its missing (pets/clan) but just keep playing and it should come back after a while.
