Add-ons are small pieces of software that add new features or functionality to your Browser (in this case, Firefox)

Firefox Security Add-ons

. AdBlock Plus - surf the web without annoying ads! Block banners, pop-ups, video ads, malware domains and tracking;
. Disconect - Block malware and tracking. Faster web page's loading;
. HTTPS Everywhere - encrypts your communications, making your browsing more secure;
. LastPass - Password manager that saves all your passwords. You only need to remember one password, the master one that will have you acess to all the other passwords;
. Track me not - protects privacy in web search. Obfuscates your search profile.

Firefox Speed Add-ons

. Fasterfox - makes your browsing so much faster! Increases meaningly your Browser speed.
You really dont need another speed add-on once you have Fasterfox.
