Greetings,

I am trying to download Hungry Shark Evolution on my non-jailbroken iPad Mini (1st Gen) with iOS 9.3.5 via the new App Store and I continually get the "unable to download app" message. I have done everything suggested in the FAQ section, with the exception of pausing the install as iOS 9.3.5 does not support this function. I've tried different networks, I've gone through several VPN servers and still no joy. Ideally, I'd like to get the ipa file and try to install the "old way" via Impactor, but I can't do that as the forum topic file link leads to the app store.

I tried a few other apps via the App Store and I can install some, but others I run into the same problem, which is why I don't feel this is a network issue. For instance, Agar.io and Toon Blast install fine, but Hungry Shark Evo, The Simpsons Tapped Out, Sega Heroes, Candy Crush and Lifty! do not install.

Any ideas? Appreciate any help or insights you can offer.

Hello crazedleo,

Thank you for making a proper support topic.

So, the issue with your device is that iPad Mini (1st Generation) falls under the ARMv7 devices which our apps no longer support as it's too old. We currently support only ARM64 devices and most apps/hacks are ARM64 only by default.

The latest x64 or ARM64 & ARM64e iDevices: iPhone 5s, 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus, X, Xr, Xs, Xs Max, 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, 12, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, 12 Mini, 13, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max, 13 Mini, 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max, SE, iPod Touch 6G, 7G, iPad Air, Air 2, iPad Pro & iPad Mini 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and later.

Thanks for the quick reply. Just so I am clear, even though I can install Hungry Shark Evolution from the iOS App Store and it runs fine, I will not be able to install from the iOSGods App Store? Is this because the non-hacked version supports both ARMv7 and ARM64?

Thanks!

Any of these apps, did they previously work for you in IPA form?

I'm not sure as I've only installed on my iPhone 6S these particular apps. I never tried to install the ipa file because I only recently (post App Store) tried to install on the iPad Mini.

That must be the case then. The apps likely only have ARM64 portion and that cannot be run on your ARMv7 device.

Hacked Hungry Shark Evolution only has ARM64 portion that's why you can't install on armv7 devices
