Help/Support Anyway to spoof app version? / bypass force update

So I was wondering if their is anyway to make an application think it's running on a newer version when it's actually on a lower version. If not is their anyway to bypass a force update prompt that does not allow you to use the app on lower version? (I need to be connected to the internet to use the iOS gods mod menu so airplane mode won't work ?

You actually need to hack the game's code if you want to bypass some checks or change the version number from within its own code. Or you could just take the IPA and change the version number in the Info.plist and hope that it uses that version when doing the version check.

On top of that you must also make sure that the network protocol doesn't differ between the two versions or you won't be able to play anyway if it's a multiplayer game.

To start with, you should grab the IPA of the app you want to hack and unzip it on a PC. Then load up the binary into IDA and let it analyze the whole binary. Next up is to see if there's any reference to a version check in decode. That highly depends on the code, whether it uses the version in the plist file or if it's hard-coded in the code. At that point you need some knowledge of reverse engineering to succeed.

I’m not sure if this works in its entirety but if you change the .ipa file to .zip using your computer and some kind of program that installs ipa files from your phone to your computer and you look in the zip file using Winrar, go to payload > info.plist then use a plist editor that can read and edit then memorize the version you are on, do CTRL + F and put the version in there and press find next. Then if it is in a string and right above it is something that is familiar to version than change the version to the version you want and install it on your phone. I’m pretty sure this works better on offline games but it might work on online games
