[USEFUL] Eclair - hide open apps when locking iPhone (iOS 8)

Imagine you were just watching at some fine +18 stuff on your iPhone and your mom calls you to do the chores. So you just lock your iPhone, throw it towards your bed and run to the kitchen. While you're helping your mother, your sneaky little brother enters your room, picks up your iPhone, unlocks it and sees what he better not should have seen. He screams and runs with your iPhone in his hands around the house right to your mother and shows her what he has seen. At this moment, you prepare yourself to receive a good whooping.  :D

 

To avoid all this, there's a tweak called "Eclair" which simply closes the app you've had open when you locked your device.

 

Requirements:

- Jailbreak

- Cydia

- iOS 8

 

To enable this awesome feature, simply follow these steps:

 

Hidden Content

    1. Add BiteYourApple Source 

    (If you already have this source, continue at 2.)

    - Open Cydia

    - Go to Sources (at the bottom)

    - Tap on "Edit" (on the right top)

    - Tap on "Add" (on the left top)

    - Type in the following source: http://repo.biteyourapple.net/

    - Tap on "Add Source"

    - Tap on "Add Anyway"

    - Wait until everything has loaded, then tap on "Return to Cydia"

     

    2. Installation Eclair

    - Go to Sources (Cydia)

    - Look for the BiteYourApple source we've just added and tap on it

    - Tap on "All Packages"

    - Search "Eclair" and tap on it

    - Tap on "Install" (on the right top)

    - Tap on "Confirm" (on the right top)

    - Wait until everything has loaded, then tap on "Restart SpringBoard"

     

    3. Try out

    - Open any app you want

    - Lock your iPhone

    - Unlock your iPhone

    - You'll find yourself at Home Menu

    - Enjoy

    (If you want to edit this feature, go to your iPhone Settings Menu, scroll down until you see "Eclair" and tap on it)

I stopped reading after you said pron and phone.

 

 

Rookie mistake.

 

Watching pron on a phone is like watching puppies burn.

 

Hahah, no-one ever said "I" watch "pron" on the phone. (iPad prefered :p)

 

It was an "imaginary" scenario which is quite plausible for a lot of young members who don't know yet how to erase browser history on mommy's PC and have their iPhone as the only source to watch some devil's movies. :)

      STEP 3: Download Sideloadly and install it on your PC.
      STEP 4: Open/Run Sideloadly on your computer, connect your iOS Device, and wait until your device name shows up.
      STEP 5: Once your iDevice appears, drag the modded .IPA file you downloaded and drop it inside the Sideloadly application.
      STEP 6: You will now have to enter your iTunes/Apple ID email login, press "Start" & then you will be asked to enter your password. Go ahead and enter the required information.
      STEP 7: Wait for Sideloadly to finish sideloading/installing the hacked IPA. If there are issues during installation, please read the note below.

      📖 PC Installation Instructions

      STEP 1: Download the pre-hacked .IPA file from the link above to your computer. To download from the iOSGods App, see our iOSGods App IPA Download Tutorial which includes a video example.
      STEP 2: Download Sideloadly and install it on your Windows or Mac.
      STEP 3: Open Sideloadly on your computer, connect your iOS device, and wait until your device name appears in Sideloadly.
      STEP 4: Once your iDevice is recognized, drag the modded .IPA file you downloaded and drop it into the Sideloadly application.
      STEP 5: Enter your Apple Account email, then press “Start.” You’ll then be asked to enter your password. Go ahead and provide the required information.
      STEP 6: Wait for Sideloadly to finish sideloading/installing the hacked IPA. If there are issues during installation, please read the note below.
      STEP 7: Once the installation is complete and you see the app on your Home Screen, you will need to go to Settings -> General -> Profiles / VPN & Device Management. Once there, tap on the email you entered from step 6, and then tap on 'Trust [email protected]'.
