General Search function on desktop version compared to mobile version.

I'm new here, just thought i would post to see if anyone else had the same "problem", but is it just me or is the mobile search function way better than desktops? Why isn't it the same? Desktop version shows multiple results of the same post while mobile doesn't. Don't mean for this to be a complaining post, just curious.

The desktop version can have the same search as the mobile version also but by default it's set to use the search system on your first picture.
