Build new pc

I have a pc i7 4790 with god 970 and 8gb Ram but case is too cheap £20 and plasticy. Game max Nero. Pc also gets loud like very loud and games like over watch or gta high temps80+ do I build new pc and sell this or upgrade case?

Upgrading the case wont make your PC any quieter, or make your components any cooler. Personally though, I would buy a new case, and rebuild it with the old components you're currently using.

Don't forget your high temps are most likely a cooling issue if you haven't overclocked. Replace the thermal compound on both your processor and graphics card (be careful not to damage the thermal pads on the gpu though).

I would also order a custom water cooling loop to top it all off because I would want to OC my components to get the best performance out of them I could.

I'd recommend that you just buy a few case fans though, and a really good air cooler or pre-built water cooling for your CPU depending on what you want.

Don't forget air distribution is key, without consistent airflow your PC will overheat very quickly, and also don't forget to clean the dust and crap off of your components.

Firstly, If you do have a case with barely any ventilation or your room is to hot i recommend to get a better case i've got a NZXT H440 its expensive but the cooling is immense make surely every few months to open the side open outside and spray some compressed air (I use Dust off) its dirt cheap on eBay.

Also if you have your case pinned up against a wall it will be restricting heat out of the exhaust fan in the back either move it forward or if you have no space the case again is the problem.

Thirdly, the GTX970 is quite a big problem and so is the 8GB ram. Ram has recently dropped in price and you can get another 8GB set for about $40 and if you look at new games their recommended specs are RTX cards and 16GB ram!!! Its just proven how much faster the new cards its a 10% increase in some cards.

Finally, your CPU should be the least of your problems if it needs a bit more help drop a evo fan on it to overclock and you will get a few Ghz out of it.

I do not think than an upgrade might solve the problem with the noisy sound// I think the best price optimized solution is to buy a new case. Maybe you could find a service that could use your components, add some others and create a new case, just perfect for you. I was searching for the Best 360mm AIO and found some cool guys who helped me and told me that they can also rebuild stuff. Or! Check what causes the over-heating!! Maybe just changing the cooler might solve your problem and save you some money!!! I had some problems with my pc, it was just turning off!! And it also had an awful sound...so just cleaning the pc and changing the cooler solved this issue.
