General Question to my fellow DWP player

For some reason my acc. Gmail didn’t sync to my phone. I just downloaded the game Dot Warriors Pair few weeks ago and I signed in my Gmail account because it was the first thing that the game ask me to do. I thought it was ok, but after a few weeks (gain a lot from the game, upgraded my hero into two stars, took me in 2-25 in story mode and gain more than 200 meters in challenge mode) decided to reformat my phone then re install the app again, but was so surprise to discover that my account in dot warriors pair didn’t sync at all and I need to start again from the scratch! Hell! It is so frustrating! How come it didn’t automatically sync on my Gmail? I’ve tried clearing the data and sign my Gmail again, but this doesn’t help any! It’s still the same! Back to scratch! Is there something in the settings that I missed?

reboot your phone? reinstall the app? try those. You will have better luck on an android forum though lol.

Excuse my late response,

With my experience with android devices, the Google Play Games (Pop-up that you signed into with your gmail) should have Leaderboards, Achievements, and a Cloud Storage, but that's only if the developers support it.

In this case it might be that it's only being used for Leaderboards and Achievements and not the Cloud Storage or it's not even being used, but the pop-up is being displayed.

Also, it generally won't work if you were using an apk with a different signature from the Play-Store. (Mods or Free-Apks fall into this category)

The safest thing to do would have been to register to the developers site, or their alternative way of storing accounts, in-order to save your progress, but this usually isn't possible.

The other way would have been to sync it to your Facebook as that usually never fails to store the data.

If this game didn't offer any of the two mentioned above that means all the data was stored locally on the phone and was wiped during the reformatting.

Sorry to bring only more bad news.

Sorry I forgot my manners, all was in my mind is how I can get ideas to restore my account in this game. I’ve done everything I know to fix this problem but as I've said all those doesn't help any! Thanks for all the advice. Anyway i know this game has been released on iOS also.

Oh. Then go to XDA Forum or Website (Search it on Google. Its all about Android) then make a account. Make a topic or ask someone about this.
