You can restore without losing Jailbreak.

Semi-restore is the name of the tool and there's a tutorial in tutorials section. :)

i just did the semi restore thing, it worked but now when i get to the step of setting up the phone it gets to the last step and just spins and spins. I have tried restoring to a backup and setting up as a new phone and still no luck. I'm regretting every move I've made so far since installing whatever stupid tweak caused this.

And FWIW i don't think Semi-Restore is as thorough as it claims to be. Zeppelin was still installed when it was done because I saw a custom icon, and also LockGlyph was still installed also Bioprotect.

Have you tried Re-running the tool again?

I just came back to give feedback I ran the tool 3/4 times before it finally wiped most tweaks off including whatever it was that was giving the issue! Was this close to restoring to 8.3 out of frustration. Thanks man you the best

Glad you got it solved. :)

There was probably a way to fix it without restoring or semi-restoring but to save time and headaches, semi restore is good. :p

For the sake of reference, it happened again. This time I was able to track the problematic tweak(s) before falling back to semi restoration.

The tweaks were: Speed Master, Auto Touch and JackPot cheat for Instagram. After uninstalling these the phone resumed normal functionality. It could have been one of them or the combination of them all.
