Help/Support How To Upgrade/Downgrade To iOS Version 11.3.1 ?

Hello Guys...

 

I'm Using Non-Jailbroken iPhone 5s (Global), Version 11.2.6 Now. In My Software Update iOS 11.4 Is Already Here...  I Am Planning To Jailbreak And A New Jailbreak Is Coming For iOS 11.3.1 Soon... Apple Is Still Signing iOS Version 11.3.1.

I've Already Downloaded The iOS Version 11.3.1 IPSW File From https://ipsw.me/ Site.  My iTunes Software Is Installed And Updated Too... 

So Now What Do I Do ? 

1. Should I Update To iOS 11.4 And Then Restore To 11.3.1 ?  If So Then How Do I Do It ?  Or
2. Can I Directly Go iOS 11.3.1 From 11.2.6 Without Updating To The Latest 11.4 Version... ? 

Please Help Me With What Should I Do And How Should I Do It. I've Never Jailbroken My Device And Do Not Know How To Do It. So, Please Provide The Instructions As To How Do I Upgrade/Downgrade My Device Version...

Download iOS 11.3.1 from ipsw.me and Restore your phone to 11.3.1 (Press Shift + Restore and Choose the 11.3.1 ipsw you just downloaded). Then use tvOS 11 Beta Software Profile (Google) to lock Auto Update to 11.4.

And If I Do Restore To 11.3.1 Then Will I Loose My Previous Profile Configurations From Settings ???

Yes, all directly from iTunes. From doing a Restore you will lose all your data on the phone, better backup your phone with iCloud or iTunes. That's the only way to get to iOS 11.3.1.

Shame on you. Click Shift + Check update (Not Restore). This way you won't lose any data.

Huh ??? What Do You Mean  ??? If I Had Used ''Shift+Update'' Rather Than "Shift+Restore", I Wouldn't Have Lost My Hacked Apps+Profile Configurations From My Device Which I Have Installed Using Cydia Impactors ???

Yeah, SHIFT+UPDATE updates the iOS, keeping all your files.

SHIFT+RESTORE updates the iOS but removes all your files.

Either way, you should have backed up your iDevice before doing anything.

Just downgraded my son's iPhone 7 from iOS 11.4 to 11.3.1 using option+check for updates, but he lost his texts. I'm about to try the same thing for my iPhone X. Would hate to loose my texts, but I suppose it's worth it for a jailbreak.

Thats The Thing Bro, I Backed Up My Device Using iTunes But It Didn't Back Up The Hacked IPA's... I Had To Impact Those Again From PC, It's Not a Problem But Because Of The Restore I Now Lost Some Apps That Are Not In App Store Anymore... Cause After Restoring All Apps Re-installs From The App Store... So If They Are Not In App Store I'm Screwed... I've Been Using Those Apps For 3-4 Years... And Now When I Click On Them This Message Shows...

I've Lost 3 Apps, Now I Don't See Any Other Ways To Get Them, I Can't Even Find The IPA Files Of Them Anywhere... It's a Bit Upsetting Bro... ???
