After posting this I found a tutorial on the jailbreak reddit about NewTerm2. you should check it out . The instructions were clear so I was able to successfully install my deb files

Okay try this-

1). open filza and tap on the .deb file where it is located

2). Now tap on “install” located at the top right corner

3). Now it wil give some error at the first and them type this

dpkg -i /var/mobile/yourfilename.deb

or

dpkg -i /var/mobile/doucments/yourfilename.deb

(Mod menus don’t work yet)

(there is space between dpkg[space]-i[space]/var/mobile.........

4). Now it shall install it perfectly and you will find it installed under changes section in cydia

hope this helps :);):snoop:
